screensharing

Short Definition
A feature in digital meetings or presentations that allows one user to display their screen to others in real time. Screensharing is commonly used for collaboration, teaching, or troubleshooting.
Relevance
Screensharing enables users to show their screen to others, which is useful for collaboration and troubleshooting. It greatly enhances accessibility in remote settings, allowing people to share resources or offer guidance. However, sharing private or sensitive content unintentionally is a risk, making harm reduction essential in carefully managing what is shown. Practically, it supports knowledge exchange, but theoretically, it emphasizes the need for ethical stewardship, ensuring that shared data remains secure and only accessible to intended viewers.
