Relevance
An OS manages hardware and software on a device. Explaining how an OS works helps users troubleshoot or customize their systems, but some operating systems are more restrictive or less intuitive than others. It’s important to note limitations, such as compatibility issues or learning curves with certain operating systems, especially for those new to technology.
It should also be noted when teaching a certain software, it may not be available on multiple OSs, and even when they are, the controls or user interface may be different.
