Indigenous futurism

Short Definition
A movement that imagines future worlds through Indigenous perspectives, blending technology, science fiction, and cultural traditions to challenge colonial narratives and create alternative futures led by Indigenous knowledge and innovation.
Relevance
Indigenous Futurism envisions a future centered on traditional knowledge and innovation, but it is often overlooked in mainstream conversations about technology and culture. The challenge is giving space for these ideas to flourish. Supporting Indigenous creators and thinkers can help shape a future where technology is guided by ancestral knowledge.
