Crip Technoscience

Short Definition
The active resistance of disabled people against norms and technologies that try to assimilate them into ableist worlds rather than making them more accessible.
Relevance
A framework that challenges ableist assumptions in tech development by centering disabled people as tech creators. Unresolved discussions focus on how to bring Crip perspectives into mainstream tech without co-opting or diluting its radical potential, and whether current tech systems can fully accommodate this.
