BEAR Framework

Short Definition
BEAR stands for Black Emancipatory Action Research, a framework aimed to engage community members as equal partners alongside scientists focused on the goal of Black people's self-determination, love, and healing.
Relevance
Its ideas are derived from an understanding of pre-colonial African experiences and lived experiences of Black people in the Diaspora.
