On the occasion of InterAccess’s 35th anniversary we are celebrating the past and future of new media arts practice. Join us this spring for The Future: Before for a season of programming that showcases a history of cutting edge practice within Canada’s media arts community, and its influence on the current digital landscape.

We are thrilled to announce that we are moving to a new venue in Toronto’s west end, and will be reopening our facilities during Winter 2018 at 950 Dupont St.

Invoking everything from endlessly spawning game avatars to ‘permadeath,’ from media-archeological excavations to futurological speculation, from generative digital creation to the digital purgatories of discussion boards and spam, we invite emerging and established artists from diverse perspectives and backgrounds to contribute their critical explorations of these and related concerns and interests.

On the eve of our 35th anniversary we're thrilled to announce a new Strategic Plan. This plan is built upon a commitment to supporting the diversity of artists within our community, while broadening our mandate – pushing forward into emerging disciplines to investigate artwork at the forefront of experimental practice.

An excellent way for Ontario-based artists to receive assistance with costs related to presenting their work is through the Ontario Arts Council's Exhibition Assistance Programme. Grants are made through third-party recommenders (like us!).
