Media Arts Prize 2026: Nominations Open
Deadline: May 11, 2026 at 11:59PM ET
We are excited to open nominations for the InterAccess's Media Arts Prize, an award offered annually to a recent graduate from a new media arts program in the Greater Toronto Area. The award consists of a professional solo exhibition at InterAccess's gallery as well as a one-year membership to our production studio which includes 24/7 access to equipment for 3D printing, laser-cutting, electronics, and woodworking.
InterAccess is seeking recent graduates who are producing work that aligns with InterAccess's mandate and who would benefit from continued studio access and a solo exhibition opportunity. Applicants must have graduated within the past 2 years from an undergraduate, graduate, or certificate new media or equivalent program in the GTA and are required to have a nominator (a faculty member, instructor, professional artist, curator or arts worker) to support their application.
TO APPLY
Eligible artists are invited to apply with a self-nomination through the form linked above.
Nominations will be adjudicated by InterAccess' Programming Committee, which is composed of professional artists, curators, and academics. The committee will select one artist to receive a solo exhibition, and finalists to receive a complimentary annual studio membership and opportunity for an artist talk hosted at InterAccess.
Nominations will close on May 11, 2026. The Programming Committee will select the prize winner within the following weeks.
Please reach out to InterAccess's Programming Manager at art@interaccess.org with any questions or concerns regarding the prize or nomination process.
