flashDRIVE 2026: Artist Intake
About flashDRIVE
Join flashDRIVE, a fundraiser exhibition of Toronto’s living digital artists, curated by Miriam Arbus of Sky Fine Foods.
Artists will have the opportunity to sell digital artwork and explore what it means to sell digital artworks to patrons. Through a profit share between artists and InterAccess, artists will get the chance to support InterAccess and their ability to run future programming and to continuously uplift local artists. Purchased artwork is available to take home on a custom USB, media player, or freestanding mini-screen. flashDRIVE first ran in 2025.
flashDRIVE 2026 will take place April 22 – May 6, 2026, with installation beginning on April 13, and an opening reception on Wednesday, April 22 from 7–9PM at InterAccess (32 Lisgar St).
How to
If you’re here, the curator has reached out to you to take part in this year’s flashDRIVE exhibition.
- Please fill out the intake form below, due March 21, 2026.
- The information included in this form will be included in a contract to confirm your participation.
- Along with your contract, we will be in touch confirming exact file specifications required.
Reach out to Miriam (info@skyfinefoods.com) with any curatorial inquiries, and Ginger (info@interaccess.org) with any questions about your contract, how to price/edition artwork, other logistics, etc.
Artwork Guidelines
- Artworks must be digital.
- You may bring your own custom screen or electronic work or use one of InterAccess’s screens (TV or tablet sized)
- Artwork will also be sold on an online marketplace.
- Please consider submitting pre-existing work, reformatted for this exhibition! This is a quick turnaround and we are not offering exhibition fees – our goal is to make this as easy as possible for artists while maximizing the opportunities to sell work.
- We highly recommend artwork without sound, or artwork where the sound is not integral. While we can provide headphones in the gallery, most patrons will not play the work with sound when displaying it in their home.
- For work not on custom screens, we recommend pricing between $10 – $400; the majority of sales in 2025 were within this range.
- You will be asked to specify the number of digital file editions available; in 2025, this did not seem to make a big impact on sales (i.e. works with less available editions did not necessarily sell more due to scarcity or vice versa). Please make the best choice for your work!
