Fall LGBTQ+ Mixer

Join us on Saturday, October 11 for a family-friendly LGBTQ+ mixer hosted by Marcella Driver-Moliner. They will be facilitating a beginner friendly Halloween-themed mini-zine-making workshop, with pre-made zines, spooky stamps, and crafting materials. Feel free to bring your own supplies to elevate your crafting desires!
From 2-5 PM, we will be making zines on a long harvest table decked out in candy and the spooky spirit, followed by a zine show and tell. This is low stakes and just for fun – come socialize, make new friends and make a zine!
This seasonal gathering offers a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ community members to connect, mingle, discuss your latest projects, and spark potential collaborations.
About the Host
Marcella Driver-Moliner is a Toronto-based bilingual new media artist from the woods of Quebec. Their practice is rooted in curiosity, nature and the funky; their work explores visual language and aesthetics through materials and technology. The looseness in the theme allows for an ongoing curiosity to make things visually and physically based on delight and concerns. Following degrees in graphic design and experimental animation, Marcella exists as a creative technologist at TMU, workshop facilitator and artist.
