Angeline Javier is a Filipino-Canadian photographer and award-winning filmmaker based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She recently graduated from RRC Polytechnic’s Digital Film and Media Production Program where she directed her first documentary, Please Handle With Care. The 10-minute film has screened at several festivals and won awards such as the Best Manitoba Short at the Gimli International Film Festival. Angeline is also the recipient of the Winnipeg Film Group’s 2023 MOSAIC Award, a fund to support the creation of her upcoming narrative short film. As an emerging artist, she is dedicated to telling stories that shed light on underrepresented voices and issues.
