About
Kevin Gotkin is an organizer and artist. In 2016, they co-founded Disability/Arts/NYC with SimiLinton, which was an organization that cultivated a broad platform for disability artistry acrossthe public, cultural, and philanthropic sectors in New York City. Their artistic work has focusedon access-oriented media production, especially in audio description and captioning. They are alead steward of the REMOTE ACCESS nightlife series. They received their Ph.D. from theUniversity of Pennsylvania and was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Media, Culture, &Communication at NYU from 2018 to 2021.
