Jenna Wortham

About
J Wortham (they/them) is a queer Black writer, journalist, and cultural critic. Wortham is co-editor, with Kimberly Drew, of Black Futures (2020) and is working on an essay collection, Work of Body, about Black queer life, technology, and embodiment. Their writing has appeared widely, including in Vogue, The Fader, and The Awl, and has been recognized for incisive commentary on technology, culture, race, and gender. Beyond journalism, Wortham is also a reiki practitioner, herbalist, and community care worker oriented toward healing justice and liberation.
