| [top] | Paula Gignac Paula_Gignac@mail.mhpublishing.com From constructing META tags to emblazoning your "carte de visite" with your Web site address, there are scores of ways to "hype your hypertext." This presentation explores the types of creative thinking, practical actions and networking you'll need to pinpoint your Web audience and get your site seen - and, includes a digital grab bag for your trouble. Presenter Paula Gignac, is a writer, photographer, filmmaker and visual artist who has recently married her twin loves--marketing and art--in the chapel of the digital church. She has written for publications as diverse as FUSE and Flare magazine, nabbed a Studio magazine award for her photography, seen her first film "Excess Is What I Came For" exhibited in film festivals across the globe, and designed Web pages for clients as dissimilar as Bulloch Entertainment and the AGO. Currently pulling double duty at work on various artistic projects while functioning as the Online Editor of Chatelaine magazine's mega site, Ms. Gignac's perspective on Art and the Web is about as yin yang as it gets. |
