weaver home drift

We drift.
In different ways.
Geographically. Economically. Professionally. Sexually. The drift website explores these cultural fault lines by moving from general metaphorical expressions of drift to ever more specific orders of information. Poetic texts and images intend to both evoke the experience of drift and give critical purchase over underlying prejudices about drifting or drifters. They lead to a second level of descriptive, elaborative texts gleaned from elsewhere on the Web. These pages in turn lead to a tertiary level, away from the drift site altogether, releasing the viewer to drift virtually on the Web.
