Brilliant, Stunning, Three Thumbs Up! I finally took the time to really cruise around in "Steps to the Moon " and I see why people think this site is exciting. The writing is a little hard to read in some parts, not enough contrast between text and background, but worth it to read. I also have got some good feedback about Buseje's site and it spoke to me-a commentary of rootlessness/weightlessness and drifting which is a theme reoccuring in every site. Even Terri floats weightlessly on her trapese, yet every one of the sites has a lead-heavy theme somehow approached in a fresh way that makes them "accessable" -true to the project mission. Are we on the moon yet? I really despise this mud-grey colour that has replaced the orig. splash page red, it horrifies me, I hate it, who the hell would like it? Can anyone second me on this? I know we said sober, did we say sombre? Merde. I like the blue on this page though, and I think it would be a nice consistancy to open and close with this colour, or a more scarletty red, anything, the grey reminds me of confinement, mudslides, sides of highways... sumtin', sumtin' I don't like. I am going back to explore around in One Eye site, the icon for this I esp. think looks flat and is lost on grey. Oh well, the whole thing is still a kicker, lots to look at... and project conception itself was a stroke, (contention part of the package...) Regards, Follow Ups: post a Follow Up: |
