I posted a response to Tomasz recently but forgot
that it would not get to everyone that way. The
jist of it was as follows:
Tomasz your technique is fantastic! Returning your
many, many compliments. Really! You are too kind:)
Seriously though, this is structurally an
interesting critical reflection on web techniques
as well as being quite content rich.
Content-wise I felt that from the first "scene" to
the last is quite a stretch. That said, and having
had more time to reflect, I am struck by the
ugliness, the gothic horror, that you illustrate
from historical to the present. It ranges from the
horror of popular culture, to the misery of
February in Toronto, to more literary and
ambiguous evocations of the gothic.
But is there nowhere here for Frankenstein, the
paragon of ugliness, scientific perversity and
melancholia.
