February now March I posted a response to Tomasz recently but forgot that it would not get to everyone that way. The jist of it was as follows: Tomasz your technique is fantastic! Returning your many, many compliments. Really! You are too kind:) Seriously though, this is structurally an interesting critical reflection on web techniques as well as being quite content rich. Content-wise I felt that from the first "scene" to the last is quite a stretch. That said, and having had more time to reflect, I am struck by the ugliness, the gothic horror, that you illustrate from historical to the present. It ranges from the horror of popular culture, to the misery of February in Toronto, to more literary and ambiguous evocations of the gothic. But is there nowhere here for Frankenstein, the paragon of ugliness, scientific perversity and melancholia. Follow Ups: post a Follow Up: |
