TORONTO – July 9, 2008, Keep Six Contemporary invites you to sumMORE SPEAK: on Interactive Art and Technology.
Featuring presentations by Ana Serrano, director of the Canadian Film Centre’s Media Lab and co-producer of Canada’s first interactive feature film Late Fragments and Rob Cruickshank, Toronto based multidisciplinary artist, educator and electronics guru. Each drawing from their experience as leaders and educators in the field of interactive art and technology to review current trends and assume future ones. An open forum discussion will follow the presentations.
sumMORE SPEAK is coordinated by Toronto based artist, Katie Kehoe and gallery director,Rafi Ghanaghounian. The primary function of these talks is to stimulate conversation around contemporary art issues by bringing awareness to the general public in a casual atmosphere. Through engaging prominent artists and professionals who are based in Toronto and whose foresight and innovation has made them leaders in their respective fields. sumMORE SPEAK seeks to encourage debates and springboard open forum discussion.
