Big thanks to Stephen from Standard Electric for donating an amazing treasure trove of equipment to the IA studio on Wednesday night. Steve’s drop-off conveniently coincided with the IA staff cleaning up the parts shelf, so we now have a pretty darn sweet selection of spare parts for members to use.
Things floating around on the parts shelf include:
- Lots of high torque AC motors
- Relay panel
- Dimmer panel
- DMX lighting
- Box of presence sensors
- PC and Mac towers (in various states of non-functionality)
- Audio Amps
- XBox and controllers (still works!)
- Boxload of keyboards and mice
- And lots, lots more…
We’ve been trying to get this parts shelf up and running for a couple months now, and it seems it’s finally ready to go. InterAccess studio members are free to take and use anything on the shelves for their projects, or just for curiosity. And of course, we always welcome donations as well.
We should have some sort of design competition or event to use all the new swag we got. Any ideas?
