Vector Festival 2015

Vector Festival returns! As a Festival Partner and Exhibition Sponsor, InterAccess will be buzzing with activity next week in and around the 2015 Vector programming.

The festival’s main exhibition, sponsored by programming partner InterAccess, To Utility and Beyond. Interface Experiments in New Media and Game Art, features recent works by six international media artists and experimental game makers (Connor Campbell (CAN), Kieran Nolan (IRL), Juliana Riska/Dorian Reunkrilerk/Loriane Stary/Kim Boldt (FRA), Kara Stone/Nadine Lessio (CAN), Kim Hoang/Ben Swinden/Zachary Soares/Hamish Lambert (CAN) and Jochen Zeirzer (AUT)) who engage in playful, critical, and self-reflexive explorations of what it means to interface with machines, artificial intelligences, and other humans. The exhibition includes kinetic sculptures, machinima, digital games, and interactive installations. Please join us for the opening on Wed Feb 18th from 6-8pm—the show runs through March 13th.

In addition to the exhibiton IA will also be hosting a (now sold out) Glitch.Jam workshop (Thurs Feb 19th), a panel discussion on interface experiments in new media art (Fri Feb 21st at 7pm) and Variations on a Theme: Computer Music{s}, an evening of live computer music (Sat Feb 21st, 8pm).
