Hi,

I'm looking to time multiplex (ie, have only one on at a time) two transducers
to one control board (using the Polariod 6500 Sensor) and i'm having some
difficulties doing so. For example, i'm trying to design some hardware that
will take the ouput from the control board and will activate only one of the
two sensors at a specific time. Has anybody tried to do this before?

I'm trying to design the hardware using a transistor as a switch but the
sensor requires 2A to power it up and it seems like the standard switching
current for transistors is 3A or 5A. Does anyone know a part number for a
transistor that has a switching current of 2A?

Thanks,
Amy
