AID: serial or usb interface for a virtual studio

Dear friends,

I am working on a virtual studio project,
Googling in the internet I found that I can connect to AID
in 3d studio max software.

But unfortunately I could not find out how to do it in 3d studio.
Could somebody please help me if there is any special command 
or plugin available?
