After several brainstorming sessions and mock ups we have decided to start at the back end and create an engine that could be generalised enough to be interfaced by a number of user level graphical application interfaces such as a web browser using html forms or Java, Pure Data, Python, Processing, Shockwave, Flash etc. These are planned for development "in the future" ;-) Back in the realm of the current, Stefan presented a proof of concept python script last week which maps inputs to outputs according to user preferences and generates a .c file. As a test we set AD channel 0 to write to Bus0. Mike compiled the resulting file and downloaded it to AID. A bend sensor at AD0 sent data to 8 LEDs at Bus0 and alighted them according to the degree of bend in the bend sensor. A successful proof of concept.
