: Sent via the Art Interface Device mailing list: aid@interaccess.org : Use your "Reply All" to reply to the list, "Reply" for private response Please forgive me if this is not the right forum for this question, but I've been following AID for some time, and believe that it may be one of very few projects that has looked at implementing OSC on the Microchip PIC, citing mention of such a project at http://www.interaccess.org/aid/list/msg00502.html I'm currently preparing to implement a very simple OSC client for the PIC18F452, and I am wondering if some of you might have some advice. My current plan is to transport the OSC packets via UDP, as this will be much simpler than TCP/IP. I'm not up on the particulars of the UDP or TCP/IP implementation, as my colleague is handling that side of things. Would OSC work with UDP? At this point, my only goal is for the PIC to be able to send information regarding the states of various input pins, so I don't need the PIC to be able to receive instructions, though this project would serve as a basis for such in the future. Is there any work that has been done in this vein that you could point me towards? I'm going into this a bit blind, and would appreciate any tips or pointers about the road ahead.
