Agenda:

AID group meeting, May 16th, 2004 at 1:30pm @ Interaccess, 401 Richmond,
Suite 444

In-Meeting Tasks:

   1) Develop AID Demos
   Participants: everyone

   2) Continue the development of the Getting Started Guide. Add more links to
      CVS content. Restructure CVS as unnecessary.
   Participants: Ben & John

   3) Continue the development of the AID test software, OSX compatible?
   Participants: Mel

   4) Follow up on AID demo and old peripheral card tests.
   Participants: everyone

   5) Finish migrating the drupal site to the AID server.
   Participants: Erin

   6) Input peripheral issues Mel is seeing: "mutant IPP board is that the
      'A' lines to the 'HC85 magnitude comparator seem to be
      floating whenever they're not tied to +5V by closing the
      address selector switch.  The 10K pull-down resistors don't
      seem to be pulling them down (far enough?)".
   Participants: Mel, Rob.

   7) Continue work on individual responsibilities.
   Participants: everyone

Between-Meeting Tasks:

   1) Follow up on Erin's main-board building progress.
   Participants: Erin+

   2) Six Worked solutions for the AID launch:
       - Switch Reader (Ben's Responsibility)
       - A/D Bend Sensor (John's Responsibility) (Now including A2D breakout)
       - Audio/Video Playback (Ben's responsibility)
       - Audio switcher (Rob's responsibility)
       - Analogue Comparator (Rob's responsibility)

      Lower Priority:
       - H bridge Motor Driver (Yeshua & Rob's responsibility)

   3) Revise and fix existing boards for AID Demos
       - Stelarc switch reader
       - PD video playback patch
       - range-finder (Rob)
   Participants: Ben

Unassigned Tasks: (Post-Launch)

   1) Take a look at subversion as a CVS replacement on AID server.

   2) The up to date (autocad) schematics need to be converted to Proteus

   3) Write construction notes and wiring list for non-PCB AID.

   4) Continue development of map command (change to 16x16 bit array?).

   5) Implement bulk write command. (requires 16 arguments)

   6) Modify the AtoD on AID to full 10bits!
   Progress: We're now using the 8 most significant bits of the reading.

What we need help with:

    If you are inclined to any of these tasks please and a comment to that forum
    and let us know what aspect you will take on. Post progress and results to
    the forum as well.

    * Anyone will enthusiasm, administrative and/or technical skills to help us plan
       the AID launch in a short period of a weeks!

    * Documentation nerds to help organize and bring our materials together.

AID is an open participation collaborative project. Please join us on
May 16th from 1:30pm to 5:00pm at InterAccess if you are interested in
helping with:

* Writing Documentation
* Designing/Building PCBs
* Adding USB support to AID
* General Electronics (board/connector building)
* Developing a dynamic AID community site
