Hello All,

I was in IA this afternoon to test step and repeat.

The software seems to be working fine, as it did before. BUT I'm having
terrible results with the HW.

The range-finder now seems to only have an effective range of 0-8 inches!!
within these 8 inches it gives great feedback and resolution of about 15
steps. If I stand and a distance (5 ft) and move closer it just jumps
around as though I'm jumping in and out of the path of the sonar, but I'm
not. Once I step out of the path it reads a stable 16/15 and does not
jitter.

I have no idea, we should look at it on sunday.
The software seems to work fine, as does the serial interface.

rob, any ideas??
Each time we have tried this thing we ge totally different distance
ranges.... (as long as there is sufficient time in between attempts, ie
days!)

thats my progress for today.

Ben
