AID: Content management software for AID website

The AID website version 1 has served us well but it now time to remodel and
add features which will take us to the next stage.

I have been looking at server side software that provides an number of back
end services as a package. These are generally know as "Content Management
Systems".

The software would help us in:

I have done some research into the many options available and would
encourage others to contribute to this discussion. I will post my findings
